Step 8: Now a message show will appear in front of you, “Your transaction is processed, Please wait” means that you have to wait a few seconds and then you will have a new screen show on which you have to change the registered mobile number from SBI account. The step will be shown.

Last Step: Both your new and old mobile number will have an OTP and reference number, and now you have to send this OTP and reference number to 567676 from your mobile numbers

You will receive this type of SMS as you are seeing in the image above and these SMSs will come in both the mobile number (old & new) and you will have to send this message to 567676 from both the numbers but you will have to send an OTP and reference number Both have to send in a predefined format and that format I have told below..

 

           Activate <8 digit OTP value> <13 digit reference number>

 

As you can see in the image above, in the same format mentioned above, send OTP and reference number to 567676. Shortly after sending the SMS from both the numbers, your SBI bank account registered number will be successfully updated.

 

You will get the notification of the SBI account registered mobile number change (update), and then the new number will be used for all the verification of the bank.
